Lewis is a producer and director of theater and teacher of acting and directing.
For Broad Horizons, Lewis has directed Fool for Love (with Ty Burrell), the critically acclaimed Evensong; an award-winning revival of Cloud 9; an adaptation of Women of Troy; and readings and workshops of new works. Lewis has also directed at the Asolo Festival, the English-American Theatre, in Düsseldorf, Germany; Pennsylvania Center Stage; Rutgers University; and Miami University. Lewis was Associate Artistic Director of Tony Honoree The Acting Company in New York City.
Concurrent with his work at Broad Horizons Theatre Company, Lewis is also Associate Professor of theater at Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio, where he teaches acting and directing and directs productions.
Lewis holds an M.F.A. in directing from the Pennsylvania State University; an M.A. in theater from Northwestern University; and a B.A. in liberal arts from Davidson College.
