Each year, Broad Horizons invites playwrights to submit scripts for its new-plays series, called New Voices, New Plays, New York. Out of the many submissions we receive from around the world, we select one or more winners and some finalists that demonstrate strong potential for engaging audiences and that embody our commitment to distinctive voices, styles, and points of view. The winning play undergoes a development process that culminates in a staged reading performed for a live audience in New York City.​
