Director Evan Michael Woods

Evan is a Fort Worth–based multidisciplinary theatre artist and director. His work has appeared at Amphibian Stage, Dallas Theater Center, Stage West, Trinity Shakespeare Festival, Second Thought Theatre, and Undermain Theatre, among other venues. In 2024, Evan was named Fort Worth Magazine’s “Fort Worthian” and received the Bill Garber Young Theatre Artist Award from the Live Theatre League of
Tarrant County.
As a photographer, he has shot more than 100 plays in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. His photos have been featured in The New York Times and American Theatre magazine and in regional outlets, including The Dallas Morning News, KERA, Glasstire, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, and more.
Evan holds a BFA in Theatre from Texas Christian University and has been on staff at Amphibian Stage since 2018, working in the areas of artistic development and marketing. evanmichaelwoods.com
