July 18, 2011 -- BHTC produced a developmental reading of James McLindon's play, Dead and Buried, featuring Lauren Ashley Carter, Jason Edward Cook, and Chandler Vinton. The play is about a foster child's determination to find out whether her birth mother once loved her.

June 27, 2011 -- BHTC produced a developmental reading of Stan Kaplan's play, Matter of Judgment. In the cast were Wilson Bridges, Jack Davidson, Joy Hermalyn, Julia Motyka, Joel Rooks, Eizabeth Rouse, and Edward Staudenmayer. Matter of Judgment follows the journey of a Jewish professor whose conscience moves him to take considerable personal risks in writing a play that challenges the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
